Michael Salmon is a multimedia artist based out of Edmonton Alberta. Michael aspires to make engaging works of media that capture the many ideas that live rent free in his head. There are many ideas from narrative storytelling to fantasy world building that he wishes to realize. Creativity is something Michael excels in and constantly strives to exercise through ever evolving personal and collaborative projects.

Michael has a Diploma in Digital Media and IT, majoring in Animation from NAIT that started his journey in multimedia creation. He is currently in his third year at the University of Lethbridge doing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media. He has received notable awards such as the Jason Lang Scholarship and has been on the Deans Honor list for academic achievement. His work experience ranges from tech sales to photo editor that has helped him shape his problem solving and group cohesion skills. He continues to search for possibilities where he can continue to learn and exercise his ever evolving skillset.

Primarily Michael is interested in pursuing a career in video editing/production, social media management/cultivation, and working on projects that challenge in a creative space. Social media is an ever-evolving space that Michael aspires to grow with, developing new content that will captivate the modern digital landscape. Michael has a large skillset in the digital media/new media landscape and is familiar with most content creation pipelines (meaning that he can understand the hard work and teamwork involved when creating projects). Michael will always do his absolute best to create media that exceeds expectations.
