Michael Salmon is a multimedia artist based in Edmonton, Alberta, driven by a passion for crafting engaging and imaginative digital media. He enjoys exploring creative possibilities within post-production and social media content creation, bringing ideas to life through visual storytelling, aesthetic vibes, and design.

Michael has a Diploma in Digital Media and IT, majoring in Animation from NAIT that started his journey in multimedia creation. He is currently in his third year at the University of Lethbridge completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media. He has received notable awards such as the Abbondanza Fine Arts Undergraduate Scholarship, the Jason Lang Scholarship, and has been on the Deans Honor list for academic achievement. His work experience ranges from tech sales to photo editor that has helped him shape his problem solving and group cohesion skills.

Michael constantly seeks new ways to express creativity through both personal and collaborative projects, valuing innovation and adaptability in an ever-changing media landscape.

He’s especially interested in pursuing a career in post-production, social media content creation, and creative collaboration/coordination. With a strong understanding of modern content pipelines, Michael values the teamwork and dedication behind every project. Above all, he’s committed to producing media that not only meets expectations, but exceeds them.
